01 · THE PROBLEM
Why this exists.
Digital media reviews often show opaque scores or disconnected measurements without clearly identifying the source, location, and limitations of each finding.
02 · THE APPROACH
What we built.
PiperTrace preserves a SHA-256 fingerprint of the uploaded evidence and presents category-specific signal inspection, image or document difference regions, and an editable Section 63 certificate draft for responsible human completion.
03 · WHAT'S INSIDE
Core capabilities.
- 01SHA-256 evidence fingerprint and case audit history
- 02Numbered visual review regions and pixel-coordinate findings where supported
- 03Reference-original document comparison with a difference overlay
- 04Section 63 BSA certificate draft with human-completed declarations
- 05Explicit limitations: review signals are not a standalone fraud verdict
04 · ENGINEERING NOTES
Tools and disciplines.
This entry is part of an independent, student-led technology studio in India. DIU means Dominance, Intelligence, Unity; this studio is not affiliated with the U.S. Defense Innovation Unit.
PiperTrace is recorded as a live in the Foundry archive. That label describes the current stage documented by the studio; it is not a claim of certification, third-party endorsement or production readiness.
The case-study record summarizes the documented problem, approach, capabilities and technology stack. Public source and live-build links are supplied where available, so visitors can inspect the artifact directly rather than infer maturity from a visual preview alone.
